Tenuta di Paganico, agricultural and livestock breeding estate, currently comprises over 1500 hectares, 400 hectares of farmland and 1100 of woods. The vastness of the property together with the manifold characteristics of the territory allow for a great variety of different, interconnected, activities and projects. In both agriculture and, the Estate makes use of an efficacious balance between traditional methods and the continuous evolutions in technology, completing the precious input of those who have always known this land with the experience and scientific knowledge of university professors and students, with whom the Estate traditionally cooperates. Since 2002, the entire Estate has been converted to the methods of organic farming and breeding, interpreting these methods not with an improvised approach but following a particular strategy where organic farming is carried out as a systematic revision of the techniques, traditions and tools used for centuries in Maremma, based on innovative and up-to-date skills, knowledge and technologies. Crops and breeding at Tenuta di Paganico are followed up by highly experienced, committed agronomists and veterinarians, who, like the owners and all those involved in the development and growth of the Estate maintain a deep respect for local history and heritage and for the land and territory itself, which is valued not only as a legacy from our ancestors, but especially as a loan granted us by future generations.
